Will we do the hard, patient, grinding work that will heal our society? Or will persist, pretending that we are not injured to our moral souls, unwilling to endure the necessary suffering that will lead to our health and wellness?
None of us – white, black, indigenous, or immigrant – can go back and create a different history. But if we will take responsibility for this present moment that we have inherited, we just might be able to create a better future.
