Dear Friends,

Since Cindy and I purchased “The Rusty Goat Coastal Farm and Retreat” in 2022, through our non-profit ReNew of Northwest Florida, hundreds of guests, visitors, groups, and volunteers have made use of the property. We are incredibly pleased!

Our mission is focused on helping others recover from trauma, exhaustion, addiction, and burnout. We provide quiet short-stay, no-cost sabbaticals and retreats, serving individuals, families, and groups . Priority is given to those who would not otherwise be able to financially afford such an experience. By providing a physical space of renewal and healing, we hope that guests will be able to find some serenity, and cultivate the inner work of the heart and soul.

For my 55th birthday (YIKES!), ReNew has set a goal of raising $55,000 between now and the end of the year. These funds will replace the roof of the farmhouse, and provide continued stays for guests and visitors through the Spring of 2026. We have already raised more than $7,500 toward this goal.
